Why conditions make a plan testable

A plan becomes easier to test when it uses clear conditions. ‘Be careful’ is difficult to observe. ‘If the practice route is marked closed, the group will use the approved alternative’ links a visible trigger to a named action. Good conditions also identify responsibility. A student may report a problem, while a trained adult decides what happens next. The plan should avoid too many branches, because people need simple information under pressure. During a drill, observers can check whether each group noticed the trigger and followed the written action. Afterwards, the school can revise unclear words or signs. However, a classroom conditional is not a universal safety rule. Hazards differ, plans change and real authorities may issue new directions. Learners should understand the grammar and the logic of a plan, then follow current official instructions in any real situation. Clear roles also stop one student from making an unsafe independent decision.
