A fictional student editor is preparing a short profile of Mrs An, a community tutor in a made-up town. The first draft calls her the perfect teacher and lists only achievements. Mrs An asks the editor to include an ordinary Saturday. That morning, she was preparing toast when a learner arrived early with a damaged model bridge. The toast burned while they were examining the model. Mrs An did not immediately know why the bridge had failed. She asked the learner to describe each step, and they discovered that one paper joint was weak. The learner repaired the joint and tested the bridge again. In the profile, the burned toast becomes a specific detail, not proof that Mrs An is careless. The bridge repair shows a teaching method, but it does not prove that the method works for every learner. The editor also checks reference carefully. A tutor is introduced on the first mention; the tutor becomes identifiable after that. Teachers and education are discussed without an article when the text makes general statements. One date in the fictional file is uncertain, so the editor writes ‘during the following school term’ instead of inventing a month. Mrs An approves the final profile because it includes patience, doubt, teamwork and a small mistake. The story remains meaningful without turning a person into a flawless symbol. Its lesson comes from a documented sequence and a modest reflection: good teaching can include admitting that an answer is not yet known.

A respectful profile leaves room for a person

Đánh dấu ARTICLE REFERENCE rồi tách EVENT–SOURCE–UNCERTAINTY–REFLECTION–DIGNITY.

A life story does not need a perfect hero to matter. In fact, a flawless profile can reduce a person to a symbol and remove the uncertainty, support and ordinary decisions that made change possible. A respectful profile selects a meaningful moment, provides enough context and distinguishes a recorded event from the narrator’s reflection. Articles help the reader follow that context. On first mention, a writer may introduce ‘a community tutor’ or ‘an unexpected visitor’. Once the person or object is identifiable, the writer can refer to ‘the tutor’ or ‘the visitor’. When the text discusses plural or uncountable ideas in general, zero article is common: ‘Teachers learn from mistakes’ and ‘Education can open new choices.’ The grammar tracks reference, but it does not verify the story. Verification comes from a source label, an agreed quotation, a dated note or an honest statement that a detail remains uncertain. Writers should never increase emotional force by inventing private hardship, medical information or family conflict. Consent also matters. A person may agree to share a public achievement but not an embarrassing detail. Classroom profiles are safest when characters and documents are fictional. If a real public figure is studied, students need reliable published sources, careful quotation and a clear difference between fact and interpretation. Reflection should stay modest. A repaired paper bridge may illustrate patience and revision; it cannot prove that one teaching method always works. An ordinary mistake can strengthen a story when it reveals learning rather than humiliation. The goal is not to remove admiration. It is to build admiration on human-scale evidence. A reader should finish the profile knowing what happened, what remains uncertain, why the moment mattered and which conclusion belongs to the narrator rather than the record.

Model • 200 words

Mrs An is a fictional community tutor in a made-up town. A student editor first described her as the perfect teacher, but the final profile begins with an ordinary Saturday. Mrs An was preparing toast when a learner arrived early with a damaged paper bridge. The toast burned while they were examining the model. The tutor did not know the answer immediately, so she asked the learner to explain each building step. They found a weak paper joint, repaired it and tested the bridge again. The fictional file confirms this sequence, although it does not provide the exact month. For that reason, the profile says ‘during the following school term’ instead of inventing a date. The moment suggests that Mrs An values questions, revision and shared problem-solving. It does not prove that one method works for every learner. Teachers often learn with students, and education can include admitting uncertainty. Mrs An has approved the details used in this task, and no private family or health information is included. The burned toast does not make her careless or heroic. It simply leaves room for a person who made a small mistake, stayed curious and helped a learner test the next idea.
